10:35 AM  RAMAKRISHNA: Dave, I request you to put the charge whenever the computer battery 20-25% and remove the charge after completing 100% and use the computer until it comes 20-25% then keep it in charge and do it again and again. If you use like in this pattern, your computer battery life and system will be in healthy condition. After completing the charge(100%), Please avoid keep plugged in the charge over the nights or all the time.

10:38 AM  Dave Umrysh: That I do not know, but I am disappointed that is the solution being given. I have purchased and handled the IT for hundreds of laptops and have never been advised to not have it plugged in or else you will get shocked. If the laptop is shocking the user when it is plugged in, that is an issue, isn't it?
10:41 AM  RAMAKRISHNA: Yes, Dave. I am really sorry for that. When you keep the charge to the laptop after completing to 100%, the computer won't take charge. So, it will give this kind of situations.

10:45 AM  Dave Umrysh: Well, so far the solution from HP to stop a laptop from shocking an employee is to not have it plugged in when we have dozens of laptops (from other manufacturers) always plugged in
